Give for Good Festival: How your donations help

As our 2021 charity campaign comes to a close, we wanted to give you an idea of how the money you raised helps our charity partners in carrying out their essential work for those in need.

This year’s Give for Good Festival raised $155,000, resulting in Save the Children and Action Against Hunger receiving over $77,000 each.

“We are incredibly grateful to WOLF and their community for the amazing support they have shown us.

This funding will save lives. It means we will reach more children and those children will win their battle with life-threatening hunger.  That is something to celebrate.”

Jean-Michel Grand, Executive Director of Action Against Hunger

The donation from WOLF will help Action Against Hunger to fund the following:

  • $25,000 will pay for the construction of two deep boreholes equipped with a manual pump providing clean water for 300 people.
  • $5,600 means that Action Against Hunger can distribute farming kits of seeds and agricultural tools to 100 families so that they can provide for themselves.
Adhele was selected by her community to be among the first in her village to be trained in new ways of growing nutritious crops. She is now a Water Committee Member in South Sudan.

“We are delighted to have WOLF’s continued support in collaborating with us to deliver change for children around the world.

This incredible donation will enable Save the Children to deliver on our ambitions to empower children to reach their potential.

A huge thank you to all at WOLF for your ongoing support & commitment to make the world a better place for children. Together we can do so much more than acting alone.”

Clive Sanders, Save the Children’s Director of Fundraising, Engagement & Volunteering

The donation from WOLF will help Save the Children to fund the following:

  • $7,000 will give 500 Syrian children a ‘school in a bag kit’, including pens, pencils, sharpeners, and exercise books, to help them keep learning from home.
  • $53,000 will pay for the drugs and equipment needed to run a health centre in Syria for one month, so children and their families can get the healthcare they need.

Thanks again to everyone who took part in the Give for Good Festival this year and helped us to raise so much money during a time that has been incredibly hard on everyone.
